These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Re-Fresh Montreal's cleaning services and customer portal. By booking a service or creating an account, you agree to these terms.
1. Services
Re-Fresh Montreal provides residential cleaning services in the Greater Montreal area (including Montréal, Laval, Longueuil, Brossard, and surrounding communities). All services are subject to availability and confirmed by appointment.
Services include recurring cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, post-renovation cleaning, short-term rental (Airbnb) cleaning, and commercial cleaning as listed on our website.
2. Pricing and Payment
- Prices are quoted based on home size, type of service, and frequency
- All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes (GST + QST)
- Payment is due at the time of service or as invoiced, via credit card processed securely through Stripe
- For recurring plans, rates may be adjusted with 30 days' written notice
- Invoices left unpaid beyond 30 days may be subject to a late fee
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- We require 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule without charge
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service
- A full session fee may apply if we arrive and cannot access your home (lockout)
- We reserve the right to cancel a visit due to unsafe working conditions, property accessibility issues, or unforeseen circumstances; you will not be charged in this case
4. Our Team
- Our cleaners are insured employees of Re-Fresh Montreal
- We reserve the right to assign any qualified team member to your service
- You may request a specific cleaner, but this is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed
5. Client Responsibilities
- Please secure pets in a separate area during the service
- Secure valuables and fragile items before your cleaning
- Ensure safe access to your home at the scheduled time (key, code, or being present)
- Inform us of any hazardous materials, biohazards, or unsafe conditions before the visit
6. Liability
- Re-Fresh Montreal carries general liability insurance
- Any claim for damage must be reported to us within 24 hours of the service visit
- Our liability for any single claim is limited to the cost of the individual service visit
- We are not liable for pre-existing damage, items of extraordinary value not disclosed in advance, or damage resulting from the client's failure to follow our instructions
7. Privacy
Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.
8. Customer Portal
Access to our online customer portal is provided for your convenience. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree not to share your account with others or use the portal for any purpose other than managing your Re-Fresh services.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and applicable Canadian federal law, including the Consumer Protection Act (CQLR c P-40.1). Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Quebec.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through our portal. Continued use of our services after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
